Job Start Date: ASAP
Location: Newmarket – Near Davis Dr & Yonge
Wage/Salary: $12.48/hour including vacation pay
Type of Employment: Part-Time, Permanent
Job Hours/Days: 2 hours a day, 7 days a week, plus an extra half hour per week for washing cleaning cloths (14.5 hours/week total). Mon-Fri start anytime between 7:00am and 9:00am (once or twice a month will have to start between 7:00am and 8:00am). Sat/Sun start any time between 7:00am and 4:00pm.
Job Description: This is a permanent long term employment opportunity suitable for a single person. Cleaning involves emptying garbage/recycling bins, dusting, wiping surfaces, kitchens, bathrooms, vacuuming, mopping, etc. Beds will also have to be made each day. All equipment/supplies are provided including backpack vacuum, cleaning chemicals, and cleaning cloths. This is a physically demanding fast paced job that requires standing for long periods.
Qualifications: Extreme attention to detail; Able to lift up to 50 lbs; Reliable; Flexible; Presentable; Good communication skills. Experience preferred but also willing to train. Must enjoy cleaning!
