Waitress/Waiter - near Loughborough
Full time.
£6.50-£7.50 an hour depending on experience.
I am currently seeking an experienced Waitress/Waiter for my client, a busy café near Loughborough. The ideal Waitress/Waiter will need to have previous experience working in a similar environment but most importantly be willing to join part of a close and friendly organisation as a team player.
The job role will include:
•Serving customers both over the counter and to tables
•Making hot drinks and other beverages
•Using a till and taking orders
•Keeping a clean and tidy working environment at all times
•Some washing up
•The hours are based on a 30/35 hour week Monday to Sunday and mainly will be day time hours. The odd evening shift will be required and weekends will be shared amongst the team. My clients is willing to be flexible on these hours for working mums or for the right candidate
The ideal candidate will:
•Have experience in a similar environment e.g. a café/small restaurant
•Be highly adaptable and versatile as the café can get very busy at times
•Be a team player - the existing FOH team and BOH team currently work in very close unison
•Be organised and hard working
•Have a basic knowledge of food hygiene and health and safety in the workplace
•Be friendly and reliable
This is an ideal job for someone who loves customer service and enjoys working in a small and friendly team in a busy and growing business!
Own transport is desirable due to the location of my client.
