Description
Maintain the interior and exterior of the buildings and their surrounding grounds. Keep buildings and grounds in clean and orderly condition. Perform heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish. Physical capability to do the work, including, but not limited to reaching, standing, walking, crawling, squatting, kneeling, bending, pushing, pulling, carrying, lifting up to 50 lbs. and occasionally required to work in dusty environments.
Successful completion of Grade 12 or equivalent is preferred.
Possess and maintain a Criminal Record Check
Knowledge of WHMIS program and Occupational Health and Safety Standards preferred
Knowledge/previous experience working with chemicals and janitorial machinery preferred.
Must be able to follow directions and work with minimum supervision.
Reliability and dependability in performing job tasks and behaving in a reliable responsible matter.
