Limen Structures Ltd.’s specialty services include masonry, restoration, stone cladding, stone paving and concrete forming for industrial, commercial, institutional and multi-residential high-rise buildings.
These roles will be site based, working on large ICI projects.
Job Description:
Provide crew leadership and direction
Manage concrete crew to effectively perform their job requirements
Plan and supervise all labour. Includes implementing method of construction, manpower levels, material quantities, equipment and temporary power sources
Plan and establish the flow of work activities on the Project. Co-ordinate all field activities for our scope of work
Maintain a working relationship with project subcontractors
Maintain a clean and orderly jobsite
Provide technical engineering information and interpretation of plans, detail sheets and specifications
Ensure that all concrete components are in the precise locations and that all formwork is straight, plumb, level, true (not twisted or racked) before concrete is placed, while concrete is being placed and after formwork is wrecked
Inspect formwork and re-shoring for conformance to design drawings
Monitor installation of rebar and post tension cables for conformance to structural drawings
Assist managing all concrete pours
Review reinforcing steel and formwork shop drawings for conformance to the contract drawings and construction plan
Ensure construction work complies with all engineering standards, codes, specifications and design instruction
Qualifications:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in the construction of cast in place concrete structures supporting similar key position responsibilities
Advanced knowledge of all phases of concrete construction including installation of rebar and post tension systems, concrete placement, formwork systems and layout.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Detail oriented with the ability to efficiently analyze and organize significant amounts of information regarding jobsite productivities, quality procedures and safety initiatives
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
